Mr.
The blower does a great job once you get it started.
I have a hard time starting the blower. If you let it idle it try to stop.

Past Poulon Units
My new unit has had limited use and so far satisfactory in performance. Several of my past Poulon units have had engine failures, loss of compression and I hope you have corrected this problem. If not ~ I will not use future Poulon units. I will change to a competitor for a similar product. I will let you know at the end of this season how well your unit has performed. This is a residential application ~ not commercial, so it should last for more than two years. Sincerely, LD Mock

Great For Light Snowfalls!
I bought my blower for removing lighter snowfalls from our wood patio, the new concrete patio and the hot tub deck. It makes for a quick job and I don't have to move anything in the process. It starts easy, warms to operating temperature quickly and has the cfm to move the snow.
Improvements I might suggest is routing the exhaust our the air flow and making the off switch a little more friendly when using it with gloves and cold temperatures ... the plastic covering gets quite stiff and the rocker button is hard to push.
Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Off to a poor start
My wife bought me the blower for Christmas to clear light snow from sidewalks. I mixed fresh gas with the supplied oil and tried to use the blower . It started right up but would not stay running for more than about one minute. Once it quit the second time I couldn't get it re-started. I tried it again the following day and spent a lot of time looking for something helpful on Poulin web site and various related links.
I finally decided to take it to an authorized service centre for a minor carb adjustment. They advised that I would need to leave a $40.00 deposit and leave it for 3-4 weeks! Really???? I decided to take it back to the retailer and ask for a refund. I explained what had happened and they refunded the full purchase without hesitation. I have since purchased another slightly more expensive brand and I guess time will tell whether it is worth the extra $50.00.

rough
This product runs rough and is meant for people who are left handed. Holding it in your right hand you have to hold it way from your body or the suction gets caught on your pants leg. This product is to heavy for older people.
