Best value and easy to use
I've had my Poulan Pro chainsaw for two years and I love it. It is easy to use and its by far the best value out there. I own 10 acres of land covered with dense hard wood trees. I have cleared over half of the trees and my Poulan Pro has not given me any problems.

great saw
I purchased the poulan pro ppb4218 the reconditioned saw and it works great for me for around my yard i always keep the saw oiled and filled with gas and clean it every time this is the key to a poulan lasting a long time i have always had poulan chains saws and from my experience as long as you maintain it properly and take care of it it will last the 4218 is a good ratio motor size to blade my saw has the two bolts on the clutch cover which i like better than the too less model works better overall great saw good for the money take care of it and it will last for a long time

Poulan Pro PP4218AV
Great saw and easy to start and use. I recommend this to any land owner that requires a solid machine to clear brush or trees.

Impressive piece of equipment.
This chainsaw was fully assembled and ready to go once fuel and bar oil were added. I was a bit dismayed when I read in the manual that it would require a rather complex starting procedure, and I wasn't ready when it started on the FIRST pull. I've only used it to cut down and clean up 2 trees so far. It handled the 8" tree effortlessly and the 16" almost as easily. The larger tree was in an awkward location on my shoreline and I was able to use the Pro safely, despite not having the optimal cutting position. It is indeed " Excellent for general landowner property management". (I can't comment on the durability as I've only used it for about 10hrs of run time.)

Now What? Re: Disappointed in customer service
The chainsaw seems fine but the big deal about getting the free case is very disappointing.
After opening the box and reading that it will take six weeks to receive the free case I sent in the form and am still waiting after over sixteen weeks but don't know who to contact or what else to do.
Now what?

Good buy
I bought this chain saw to remove a tree that had split during a storm. The saw did a great job and the only issue I have with it is the engine is a little hard to start.
