Troubles
I purchased two, one for each of my daughters. Both have the same problem. Run for 30 seconds and then dies. Reading other reviews, I think it is a problem with all these machines. Will only last for a few mows. Don't waste your money. You will be aggravated.

LOVE THIS MOWER!!!
This is the best mower I have ever used/owned!!! See were I live I have a little bit of everything uneven ground gopher holes ect. This will be my 3 or 4 year using it with out any trouble! It can handle branches garbage bags Trash anything even with the grass higher than the front wheels and as low as it will go it does not stop!!! Talk about power!!! So you can see I am HARD on mowers this is the only one I have used that can stand up to a beating!!! Even the paint is in GREAT Shape after all of the years of beating! Will not even DENT! I was cleaning under it and hitting it with a rubber mallet worked great and just bounced back off of it with out in dent and I was hitting on it really hard!!! ALSO NEVER EVER PUT ETHANOL GAS IN ANY MOWER IT WILL NOT RUN GOOD AT ALL AND WILL GUM UP THE SPARK PLUG AND WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE!!! It is worth the extra 10 cents to keep your mower running at its best!!!

Has been the biggest pain to deal with from the start
My husband and I purchased this mower at the beginning of mowing season so not only did we buy the biggest piece of junk, we paid full price for it. We actually purchased the first one, then had to return it because we couldn't even get it to start at all. We returned it and was given a new one in hopes that it was just a defective part or something. The second one was only used about 3 times this year because of the local drought and now on the fourth use, it again is having problems. It will start and run of about 30 seconds then sputters out. We are in the process of returning this one and when we talked to the store manager, he said everyone of these mowers bought in his store this year has been returned multiple times with the same problem. We thought we would go with the high priced product when we decided on this mower only to have nothing but headaches..... Will know next time to just buy the cheaper one that is defiantly not made by Poulan.

This product cuts great
I purchased my poulan to replace a very old craftsman lawnmower. The first time i used it i saw the difference, it is astounding in the difference of how well it cuts.

waste of money
I bought this mower less than 1 yr ago. I live in New England, so I have only used it for about 5 months. Also, I have a very tiny yard, with lots of gardens so I may have about 2500 sq ft of yard that actually needs mowing. It has never run properly. I have already had to clean the carburetor once 2 months ago and it needs it again. I have probably used this mower no more than 20 times. The inside of the fuel tank is corroded so cleaning the carburetor would be an on going issue, if I decide to keep it. I threw my money away on this.

Worst Mower ever
This is by far the worst mower I have ever owned. I bought it brand new in June and after 3 uses the mower has died and will not start. It sputtered and surged from day 1. On the 3rd use i was mowing the lawn and stopped to fill the gas tank. Since then, the mower has started 2 times and only ran for about 30 seconds or less. It has not even sputtered the last 50 attempts to start. Product was only 1 month old and used only 3 times, I expect more after spending $170 bucks.

This is not worth your money. don't have alot of extra money to throw arond, and this was one of the worst investments I ever made.

bad news
Used 5 times and engine locked up, can not find a replacement engine, Iam retired and this is a big loss for me and my wife.
