Poulan Pro PP025
Broke on second use
The starter cord failed to re-wind mid job on second use requiring expensive repair. Repair requires extensive disassembly. Also, when using the edger attachment, the hand grip slides which is annoying. I had to replace plastic nut. Although engine ran fine and edger worked well while operating, I would never buy another (or recommend anyone purchase) because of poor starter durabilty/ realiabilty..

5 minutes out of the box and the cover for the string feed broke into 4 pieces. Had to spend another $26 for a new head assembly.
Haven't tried it yet since buying the part and really don't want to.

Not worth it...lasted only two uses
I have a few other Poulan products, so I thought I would be able to trust this trimmer. I was able to get two uses out of it before the pull cord became stuck making it inoperable. I called Poulan customer service, who was not very helpful or informed. I had to explain the layout of the product. They also informed me this was not covered under a warranty, so any repair would be my own cost. I took it to a local authorized repair shop to get an estimate to fix. I was told because of the design of the motor it e to fix as the trimmer cost.
So, I will just be chalking this up as an expensive lesson to pay a little more for a better, trusted brand.
During the two uses I wasn't impressed by the power. I bought the brush cutter and pole pruner attachments and there was bare enough power to properly run the attachments.

a piece of trash
I purchased this product at walmart and I regret the day that I did. I was only able to use it for one summer. This summer it won't work because the string that you pull to start it won't retract, and when it does you can't pull it to start the stupid thing. I got took with this product.

this product has a variety of great features
i have both the 33cc and the 25cc and both have done an excellant job for me. i use them not only for weed eating but for cultivator and edging use.
they are not hard to start when you keep fresh gasoline in them. they are rugged in there use. being i am an older person i find specially the 25cc very more for my speed and still does an excellant job.
the cost was less than other name brand utinsiles with the same capability.

Is a good trimmer but, arrived un-crankable. It seems that the calibrator needs adjusting. When I called to find a Poulan's local service company they gave me a number of a place that was no longer doing there work. I have yet to get a place to fix it. I did manage to get it cranked eventually and have used it once. I did well that time.

I have owned this trimmer for one season. It would not stay running. The trimmer head broke. Pull start rope broke. I will not buy another Poulan. I will stay with Ryobi. It lasted several yrs and started every time.

I have had a lawn care business before I retired and used only another brand's equipment. I decided to try
this trimmer after reading its characterisitcs. When I got it home and started to use it, I was really surprised to find it was light, handled very well, and did trimming better than any other unit I had used in the past.
I wish that I had used this type earlier when I was in business.
Have talked to some friends and they report the same service with their Poulan products.
Would highly recommend to others.
